Guiding Principles of the Caritas Baby Hospital Foundation

The Caritas Baby Hospital Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 charity that is the US support arm for Caritas Baby Hospital in Bethlehem.

Our mission is to raise support and awareness for Caritas Baby Hospital in Bethlehem, Palestine so that no child shall be refused medical treatment in the birthplace of Jesus as was intended from its inception.

Caritas Baby Hospital treats critically ill and premature babies and children suffering from severe chronic respiratory and cardiac diseases. Last year, they provided nearly 40,000 treatments for babies and children.

The Hospital was founded as a purely charitable institution. Yet today, it is an important pillar of the overall Palestinian health care system. They offer specialized medical training in pediatrics and continuously invest in maintaining the highest standards of quality.

It is directly thanks to your donations, that they have been able to run the Hospital for more than 60 years, offering professional health care and saving the lives of many children. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for enabling the staff of Caritas Baby Hospital to provide medical treatment to all the children, babies and adolescents, in the Bethlehem region.
